American soprano Emma McNairy, acclaimed for her interpretation of Berg's Lulu with West Edge Opera, has been praised for her silvery soprano and fearless, authentic performances. A principal artist at Theater Lübeck since 2016, she has starred in roles such as Madeleine de Faublas in Ball im Savoy, Dede in A Quiet Place, Contessa di Folleville in Il Viaggio a Reims, and Rosina in Il barbiere di Siviglia. Guest appearances include her Lincoln Center debut with the Mostly Mozart Festival, The Song Continues at Carnegie Hall, and appearances at Hamburg’s Laeiszhalle, Oper Kiel, Stadttheater Gießen, Bangkok Opera, Silbersee in the Netherlands, and Livermore Valley Opera. Ms. McNairy was a Vocal Fellow at Music Academy of the West for two summers as well as a young artist at iSING International Young Artist Festival in Beijing.
